Ingredients

2 tbsp Dijon mustard*
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp honey
½ garlic clove, minced
Black pepper, cracked

* Gluten free if using gluten-free mustard

Lemon juice
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Olive oil
Plant based oils like canola or sunflower oil

Tips

  • Making your own dressings allows you to control the ingredients to make it as healthy as possible.
  • Using healthy fats, like olive oil, is good for your heart.

  • Store dressing, in the fridge, for up to 5 days. Mix well before use.
  • You can juice the leftover lemon and freeze for later use.

  • Home brand mustard can be used to save money.
  • Jarred garlic can be used to save time and money.
  • Bottled lemon juice can be used to save time and money.

Method

Step 1
Whisk together all ingredients until combined and emulsified. Season with pepper.
