Olive oil
¾ cup rolled oats
¼ cup wholemeal plain flour
3 tbsp brown sugar
2½ tsp ground cinnamon
1½ tbsp margarine*, melted
6 apples, cored and diced
2 tbsp cornflour
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg

Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 180oC. Grease a 20cm square tin with olive oil.
Step 2
For the crumble topping, mix together the oats, flour, brown sugar and one teaspoon of cinnamon in a bowl.
Step 3
Make a well in the centre and pour in the melted margarine. Mix well to combine.
Step 4
In a bowl, toss the apples in the cornflour, remaining cinnamon and nutmeg until completely coated.
Step 5
Transfer the apple mixture to the prepared tin and gently press down. Sprinkle evenly with the crumble topping.
Step 6
Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the apples are tender and the crumble is golden.
