Ingredients

1 cup baby spinach 
2 cups reduced-fat milk 
1 large apple, core removed & sliced 
1 banana, chopped 
½ zucchini, chopped 
¼ avocado, chopped

Tips

  • Baby spinach provides folate. Folate helps reduce tiredness. 
  • You can make this recipe dairy free by using a calcium-fortified milk alternative in place of cow’s milk. 
  • Milk provides calcium. Calcium is needed for healthy bones and teeth. 

  • This is a good recipe for using up bananas, apples and zucchini that are a bit old. 
  • This is a good recipe for using up a chunk of left over avocado. 
  • Grate the left-over zucchini into a spaghetti Bolognaise sauce.

  • Buy ‘Odd Bunch’, ‘I’m Perfect’ or ‘Imperfect Picks’ fruit and vegetables to save money.

Blend ingredients together and serve immediately.
